It's 'D day. Who will be the best?

We are finally here folks. Today, at 6:pm curtains (so to speak), will rise on the National finals of the Community IndepenDANCE FESTival 2008. Today sixteen community base dance groups (four junior, twelve adult) will prove to the judges and an expected audience of over 5000, why they should be crowned BEST dance group on the island.

Fans who have followed the competition from the preliminaries will definitely be in for some surprises. Most groups confessed that their presentations during the zone finals were works in progress. So expect some stunning performances.

Let me take this moment to wish all competing good luck and may the best group be victorious. See you at the show.

Congrats to xtra hype for a good performance.......but in my opinion there were'nt the best act of the nite. They came with popular songs and familiar dance moves marketed for a generation in they age group(25 and under).I enjoyed they performance mainly for they song choices but honestly I can't remember what the dance piece was about. My only question is "what was the judges criteria .... is it a roaring crowd applause !!!!!!!!!
that a group who barely place in the top two in the semis ,came out ahead of other impactful group.....
D.squad, worldchargers, hynosis, new era, adrenalin???????? To the judges, committee, chief technical advisor.........i think you need to go back to the drawing board and re-think the judging system.please comment if you can?
